The Board of Directors of the South Texas Golf Course Superintendents Association started the Legacy Scholarship program in 1990 for the purpose of assisting the children and grandchildren of STGCSA members who are or will attend college. Members must meet the criteria and requirements in order for their student(s) to be approved.TURFGRASS SCHOLARSHIP
The South Texas Golf Course Superintendents Association is pleased to offer educational aid to students currently pursuing a degree in turfgrass management with the goal of embarking on a career in golf course maintenance to become a Golf Course Superintendent. Students must meet the criteria and requirements in order to be approved.mARIAN TAKUSHI MEMORIAL GCSAA CONFERENCE AND TRADE SHOW SCHOLARSHIP
South Texas GCSA, Inc. is pleased to offer a $2,000 scholarship to a deserving Superintendent, Assistant, and/or Mechanic Member to attend the 2027 GCSAA Conference and Trade Show, taking place January 15–21, 2027, in New Orleans, Louisiana. This scholarship is intended to help offset the cost of registration, education, airfare, and hotel accommodations. It is designed to support members whose clubs may not typically fund attendance at the conference; however, all eligible members are encouraged to apply.
